ECH Police Officer

Full-time

Heritage Hospital has an opening for an entry-level sworn law enforcement position, with diverse duties which may be physically as well as psychologically demanding. Duties include: patrol, criminal investigation, criminal apprehension and additional duties required to secure the facility. Selected applicants must pass a medical examination verifying he/she is able to perform the physical duties of this position, ECH Company Police examination, and a thorough background investigation. A high school diploma (or equivalent), NC driver's license, BLET certification in law enforcement by the State of North Carolina and a minimum of one year of law enforcement experience required. Additional training or education in law enforcement/criminal justice preferred.

Physical Therapist - PRN

Bachelors or Masters Degree from an APTA Accredited school of Physical Therapy. Current valid licensure to practice Physical Therapy in North Carolina. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and patients of varied backgrounds. Additional training/certification as deemed necessary to practice in a specialty area as dictated by patient’s age or condition. Possess and demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patient.

Speech Language Pathology - PRN

Must possess a minimum of a Master of Science, a Master of Arts or a Master of Education degree in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited university. All course work for ASHO certification in Speech/Language Pathology must be completed. A N.C. licensure or eligibility for it is required and certification of Clinical Competence in Speech/Language Pathology awarded by the American Speech/Language and Hearing Association or equivalent academic and clinical training. Special interest and experience in neurologically based speech and language disorders preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, team members, patients, families and the public. Special interest or experience in working as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
